Puppy Poop Bags

I would like to thank whoever it is that puts out the puppy poop bags. Even though I don't currently have a dog, I babysit once in a while. It's really easy to forget to take a Walmart sack with you when you take the dogs out to do their business. Again, thank you whoever you are.

What Hit My Trailer? New People Beware!

Shortly after I moved into the park, I was sitting in my office, working on my computer and it happened. KaBOOM!! The trailer shook, even moving my desk chair. Things fell over. Stuff dropped from shelves.

I thought someone had hit the trailer with their car. I rushed outside and nothing.

No damage. Everyone in the park was acting as normal. Was I imagining this? It then happened again.

KaBOOM!!

Quickly, I gabbed a neighbor and asked, "What was that?". She responded that it was the military bombing in the bay. "Get used to it."

I've been in this area for many years and always knew about the bombing. You could hear it in the distance. This was the first time I felt it.

Now that I've been here a while, I barely notice the bombings, except on the mornings when I'd like to sleep in. The military has a unique way for deciding who gets to sleep.

Weeds hurt your neighbors

Have you noticed that the soil in this area has a hard time growing grass but is perfect for growing weeds? Not only do the weeds make your place look bad but when they go to seed, the wind blows and your neighbors get to deal with the weeds as well. Weeds will break up concrete and sink gravel. Not something I want to replace. Please do your part to help prevent weeds. If you go somewhere during the summer, please make sure there is someone doing this for you.

Breeding mosquitos by accident?

Letting stagnant water hang around is perfect for breeding mosquitos. Anything that collects water; a bucket left outside, a gutter that needs cleaned out. Please look around your home for anything that promotes the breeding of mosquitos and eliminate it.
